Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team in Parramatta. In this stable role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our logistics operations by transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will support various departments by analyzing supply chain performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to supply chain operations, including inventory, transportation, warehousing, and procurement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., operations, finance, IT) to understand data requirements and deliver insightful analyses.
- Support the implementation of new data collection systems and analytical tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality and integrity across supply chain systems.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry.
