Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Systems Data Auditor to join our team, focusing on ensuring the highest level of information accuracy across our critical business systems. This ongoing role is crucial for maintaining data integrity, supporting compliance, and providing actionable insights for process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding rigorous data standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of data within various enterprise systems to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and implement audit plans, methodologies, and reporting standards.
  • Identify, investigate, and report data discrepancies and anomalies, tracing root causes of inaccuracies.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business units to understand data flows and system logic.
  • Recommend and implement solutions for improving data quality, integrity, and system processes.
  • Document audit findings, corrective actions, and preventative measures in a clear and comprehensive manner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and data governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of data accuracy metrics and performance indicators.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for data entry and management.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data auditing and quality.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis and auditing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., SQL, relational databases).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python).
