Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organised TAFE Admin Coordinator to join our team at the Esperance campus. This vital role provides comprehensive administrative support for our vocational education programs, ensuring the smooth operation of student services, course administration, and general campus functions. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, playing a key role in maintaining an efficient and welcoming educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to vocational education trainers and staff.
- Manage student enrolments, records, and course documentation accurately.
- Assist with timetabling, room bookings, and resource allocation.
- Handle general inquiries from students, prospective students, and the public.
- Coordinate campus events, meetings, and workshops as required.
- Process invoices, petty cash, and other financial administration tasks.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-stocked and functional workspace.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities for TAFE courses.
- Ensure compliance with TAFE policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive campus culture.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative or office coordination experience.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation and professional demeanour.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience working within the education or vocational training sector.
- Familiarity with TAFE systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of local community services and resources in Esperance.
