Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Tent & Marquee Installer and play a pivotal role in bringing events to life across Gold Coast and beyond! This is a physically demanding yet incredibly rewarding position for individuals with high energy, a strong work ethic, and a desire to work outdoors. You’ll be involved in the complete setup and dismantle of various event structures, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport event equipment to and from various job sites.
- Participate in the professional setup and dismantle of a wide range of marquees, tents, and temporary structures.
- Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate and secure installation according to safety standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule and to the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and at the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-installation checks of equipment for damage or defects.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- High level of physical fitness and stamina, capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
- Basic understanding of tools and construction principles (preferred but not essential).
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Driver's License (manual license highly regarded).
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., construction, landscaping, warehousing).
- Forklift license.
