Job Description
Join our vibrant team as a Tournament Assistant for various single-day sports events in Swan Hill! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, temporary work that allows them to be part of exciting local sporting action. As a Tournament Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events, providing support across various functions to create an outstanding experience for all involved. No prior experience in event management is necessary; we value enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive attitude. Full on-site training will be provided for each event.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including signage, equipment, and designated areas.
- Support participant registration and check-in processes, verifying details and distributing materials.
- Provide clear directions and information to participants and spectators throughout the event.
- Help manage crowd flow and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
- Assist event officials and coordinators with various tasks as needed.
- Distribute water, snacks, or other provisions to participants at designated stations.
- Handle light administrative duties, such as data entry or record keeping, if required.
- Report any issues or incidents to event management promptly.
