Job Description

We provide comprehensive, paid training to equip you with all the skills and certifications needed to safely and effectively operate our modern transit fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all phases of our paid training program to obtain a Class 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
- Operate transit buses safely and efficiently on designated routes and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries, directions, and ensuring a pleasant travel experience.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or defects.
- Collect fares and manage passenger boarding and alighting procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and according to established protocols.
Required Skills
- Must possess a valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to learn and commit to an intensive paid training program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with a desire to help others.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to operate a large vehicle and assist passengers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with the Amos and surrounding area road network.
