Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will connect with potential donors and supporters across Canada, sharing the impactful stories of our work and inspiring them to contribute to vital community programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential donors over the phone in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Clearly articulate the mission, vision, and impact of United Way Centraide Canada.
  • Build rapport and cultivate positive relationships with supporters.
  • Record accurate donor information and interaction details in our CRM system.
  • Achieve daily and weekly fundraising targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to enhance fundraising skills.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and fundraising best practices.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and persuasive approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency (internet navigation, CRM/database entry).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
  • A genuine passion for community development and social impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call center environments.
  • Familiarity with non-profit fundraising or advocacy.
  • Ability to communicate in both English and French.
  • Experience with CRM software.
