Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Virtual Customer Success Associate to join our growing team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about technology and helping businesses thrive. You will be the first point of contact for our merchants, providing exceptional support, guidance, and solutions to ensure their success on the Shopify platform. While previous customer service experience is a plus, we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to learn, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Full training will be provided to ensure you become a Shopify expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class customer support via chat, email, and occasional phone calls, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Educate merchants on Shopify features, best practices, and new product functionalities to maximize their platform utilization.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, guide merchants through self-help resources, and escalate complex problems to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the merchant experience and prevent potential issues.
  • Gather and relay merchant feedback to product and development teams to drive continuous improvement of our services and platform.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new software and technical concepts quickly.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • High-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role (even if non-technical).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or the retail industry.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience using CRM software.
