Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual E-learning Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, 100% remote position with term-time options, meaning your primary working hours will align with academic calendars. You will be responsible for providing essential technical and administrative support for our e-learning platforms and virtual educational programs. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both learners and educators. You will troubleshoot technical issues, manage course content, assist with user accounts, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for e-learning platforms and tools, resolving issues promptly or escalating as necessary.
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and password resets for students and faculty.
  • Assist with the upload, organization, and maintenance of course content on various learning management systems (LMS).
  • Monitor e-learning system performance and report any persistent issues or outages.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and FAQs for common technical queries.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to ensure content accessibility and functionality.
  • Conduct virtual training sessions for new users on e-learning tools and best practices.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of virtual meetings, webinars, and online assessments.
  • Gather feedback from users to identify areas for improvement in e-learning support services.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort with various software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and e-learning platforms.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, or Brightspace.
  • Experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital content (e.g., WCAG).
  • Experience creating instructional documentation or help guides.
