Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Virtual Quality Assurance Auditor with a strong focus on data to join our remote team. This is a 100% work-from-home position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to critical data integrity projects from anywhere in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and validating data sets and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high quality. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our data-driven services, identifying discrepancies, and recommending improvements to our quality assurance protocols. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a meticulous approach, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual audits of data sets, data entry processes, and data management systems.
- Identify, document, and report data inconsistencies, errors, and compliance breaches.
- Develop and implement quality assurance checklists and audit procedures for data-focused projects.
- Collaborate with data analysts, project managers, and operational teams to understand data flows and system functionalities.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance data quality and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of audit findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
- Ensure all data quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Participate in the development and refinement of data governance policies and best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data quality assurance, auditing, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of data validation techniques and data integrity principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex findings clearly.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or Data Management (e.g., CDMP).
- Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Principles).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Previous experience working in a virtual or remote team environment.
