Job Description
Are you a passionate and driven engineering student eager to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of warehouse automation and robotics? Honeywell is seeking a Warehouse Automation Engineering Intern to join our innovative team in St. Anthony, MN. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects, working alongside experienced engineers to design, implement, and optimize automated material handling systems. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and automated material handling solutions.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting and optimizing existing automation equipment and processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
- Document project progress, system specifications, and test results.
- Participate in site visits to observe and analyze operational warehouse processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for safety and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics).
- Basic understanding of robotics principles, automation, or control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior coursework or projects related to PLC programming, motor controls, or sensor integration.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards.
- Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting (academic projects count!).
