Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Janitorial Staff to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our fulfillment center in Stockton, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe, hygienic, and pleasant working environment for all our associates. You will be responsible for independently performing various cleaning tasks, contributing directly to our operational excellence. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident in all aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and office spaces regularly.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners).
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials according to established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning needs or issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment operation (training provided).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
