Job Description
Join Amazon Fulfillment as a Warehouse Worker in Fairbanks! We are urgently hiring for all shifts, offering immediate starts for individuals looking for a dynamic and rewarding role. No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive, paid on-the-job training to ensure your success. This is a full-time, on-site position vital to our operations, involving the movement of products and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after training.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (not necessarily warehouse).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (we will train).
