Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Work From Home Archive Digitization Assistant. This is a flexible, entry-level remote position perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in information management and digital archiving. You will play a crucial role in converting physical documents and media into digital formats, ensuring the preservation and accessibility of vital information. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the field. This role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, working independently from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and digitize various physical documents, photographs, and other archival materials.
  • Perform quality checks on digitized images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Organize and name digital files according to established naming conventions and protocols.
  • Input metadata into digital asset management systems.
  • Assist with basic data entry and record-keeping tasks.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all materials handled.
  • Communicate regularly with team lead on project progress and any issues encountered.
