Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative specializing in Retail & Logistics. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction within our Fremantle operations. You will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, product availability, and general store assistance, playing a vital role in our supply chain and customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding retail products, online orders, and logistics processes.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and courteously, escalating complex problems to relevant departments when necessary.
- Provide accurate information on product availability, pricing, delivery schedules, and store services.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with warehouse and retail staff to track orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock management queries when required.
- Actively listen to customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in retail or logistics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and retail POS systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Knowledge of local retail and logistics regulations.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Tertiary qualification in business, logistics, or a related field.
