Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated Casual Production Hands to join our processing facility in Katherine, NT. This role involves various duties within a fast-paced production environment, primarily during day shifts. If you are physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and are ready to contribute to a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply. Experience in a similar setting is a plus, but full training will be provided to suitable candidates. Penalty rates apply for eligible shifts, offering enhanced earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate basic machinery and equipment as directed.
- Perform various manual handling tasks, including lifting, packing, and sorting products.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with quality control checks on products.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or factory setting.
- Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety standards.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
