Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding career path with full training provided? GardaWorld is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Security Officers in Moncton. No prior experience is required – we believe in investing in our people from the ground up! We will fund your comprehensive security licensing training (equivalent to SIA standards, adapted for New Brunswick provincial requirements) to ensure you are fully equipped for success. Key Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, maintaining a highly visible and professional presence.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Control access to premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
- Conduct regular inspections of property to identify and report safety hazards or security risks.
- Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to staff, visitors, and clients.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Collaborate with emergency services as needed during critical incidents.
Required Skills
- Aged 18 or over and legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and commit to comprehensive training.
- Capable of passing a background check and obtaining a provincial security guard license (fully funded by GardaWorld).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (training can be provided).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred for mobile roles).
