Job Description
Greystar is seeking a dedicated and reliable Condominium Concierge / Front Desk professional to join our team for night shifts in a prestigious residential community located in Durham, NC. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents during overnight hours. You will be the primary point of contact, managing inquiries, coordinating services, and maintaining the security and tranquility of the building. This position is ideal for individuals who are responsible, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working independently in a quiet, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor lobby and common areas, ensuring security and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle resident inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues as necessary.
- Manage package deliveries, mail distribution, and key control systems.
- Oversee access control for residents and approved visitors, verifying identification as required.
- Conduct regular patrols of common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functionality.
- Respond to emergency situations according to established protocols, contacting appropriate personnel (security, emergency services) when needed.
- Maintain detailed logbooks and incident reports.
- Assist with amenity reservations and provide local information to residents.
- Ensure the quiet and respectful environment is maintained throughout the night shifts.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing, database entry).
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Reliability and punctuality for night shift schedules.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service, front desk, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or security roles.
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
