Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Remote Public Works Customer Support Specialist. This is a 100% remote, full-time position with comprehensive benefits. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for residents and businesses, addressing inquiries related to various public works services such as utilities (electric, water, waste management), permits, infrastructure, and community services. Your ability to provide empathetic, accurate, and timely assistance will be crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding public works services, billing, outages, and general information.
  • Provide detailed explanations of public works policies, procedures, and service offerings.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally, escalating complex cases to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and information flow.
  • Educate customers on self-service options and online resources.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
