Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical recent graduate to join our economics team as an Economist (Grad). Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of daily, weekly, and monthly economic updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management and client-facing teams to articulate economic insights.
  • Continuously learn and apply new analytical techniques and economic theories.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field (completed within the last 12-24 months).
  • Strong foundational understanding of macroeconomic principles and financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Stata, EViews) preferred, but not strictly required (training provided).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship experience in a financial services or research setting (not mandatory for this grad role).
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal or Refinitiv Eikon.
  • Knowledge of time series analysis and econometric modeling.
