Job Description
Join Currys as a White Goods Delivery Helper, working as part of a dedicated two-person crew. This role is perfect for individuals who are reliable, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to a leading retail brand. You will assist our skilled drivers in the safe and efficient delivery and installation of white goods (e.g., washing machines, fridges, ovens) to customers’ homes. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. This is a physically active position that requires good communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with the loading and unloading of white goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Safely transport products into customer homes, often navigating stairs and tight spaces.
- Provide basic assistance with the installation of appliances, following training guidelines.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, ensuring a positive delivery experience.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during transit and installation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with vehicle checks and maintenance as required by the driver.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and collect customer signatures.
