Job Description

Join Telstra as a Remote Office Coordinator and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our corporate work-from-home environment. This 100% remote position is perfect for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional who excels in a virtual setting. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support, facilitating communication, and maintaining efficient workflows for our dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage virtual office operations, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and document management.
  • Act as a central point of contact for remote team members, addressing administrative inquiries and providing support.
  • Coordinate and organize virtual events, team meetings, and training sessions.
  • Handle internal communications, drafting announcements and updates for remote staff.
  • Assist with onboarding new remote employees, ensuring they have necessary resources and access.
  • Maintain and update virtual filing systems and databases.
  • Manage office supplies for remote staff (e.g., ordering and coordinating delivery of ergonomic equipment, stationary).
  • Support expense reporting and basic budget tracking for team-related activities.
  • Identify and implement tools and processes to enhance remote team efficiency and collaboration.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).

Preferred Qualifications
