Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting temporary summer job in a vibrant festival environment? Maritime Event Solutions Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Festival Wristband / Accreditation Staff for various events in Sydney, Nova Scotia. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of the action, interact with festival-goers, and gain valuable experience in event operations. No prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided to successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet festival attendees warmly and provide clear instructions regarding wristband and accreditation procedures.
- Verify ticket authenticity and issue appropriate wristbands or accreditation passes.
- Operate point-of-sale systems or ticketing scanners accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of wristbands issued and inventory.
- Answer attendee questions about festival logistics, schedules, and facilities.
- Resolve minor attendee issues or escalate to supervisors as needed.
- Adhere to all festival security and safety protocols.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of accreditation stations as required.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Experience working at festivals or large-scale events.
- Ability to speak French is an asset.
