Job Description
Join AquaPure Pool Solutions as a Residential Pool Cleaning Technician and enjoy a dynamic career working outdoors. This vital role involves managing an assigned route of residential pools, ensuring they are sparkling clean and properly maintained. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including chemical balancing, skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and performing minor equipment checks. We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual who enjoys physical work, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service. Full training will be provided to ensure you become an expert in pool care.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a daily route of residential pool cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Test and balance pool chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.) accurately.
- Skim pool surface, brush walls and tiles, and vacuum pool floors.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Inspect and report on the condition of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to pool equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and chemical usage for each pool.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients regarding their pool's condition and services.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and equipment.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics for chemical calculations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pool cleaning or a related outdoor service role (e.g., landscaping).
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with pool equipment and common maintenance issues.
