Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist certified Air Traffic Controllers by performing clerical and administrative duties to support operations.
  • Monitor automated equipment and computer systems, reporting any irregularities or malfunctions.

  • Communicate clearly and concisely with controllers, pilots (under supervision), and other airport personnel.
  • Learn and apply complex air traffic control procedures and regulations.
  • Perform routine tasks such as flight plan processing, data entry, and information retrieval.
  • Participate actively in all required training programs and demonstrate continuous learning.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and drug screening.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to complex systems and procedures quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • No prior air traffic control experience required – full training provided.
