Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Migration Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in supporting the migration of our e-commerce platforms and data, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn about e-commerce operations and platform management in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for e-commerce platforms.
- Perform quality assurance checks on migrated data and content to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Document migration steps, challenges, and solutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with technical and content teams to resolve discrepancies and issues.
- Support the creation and updating of product listings, categories, and other site content.
- Participate in testing new platform functionalities and user experience post-migration.
- Provide administrative support to the migration project manager as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus.
