Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior court clerks with daily administrative tasks and court procedures.
- Organize and maintain court records, files, and documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform data entry for case information and court scheduling.
- Answer inquiries from the public, legal professionals, and other agencies, providing information within established guidelines.
- Prepare and process various court forms, orders, and correspondence.
- Schedule hearings, meetings, and appointments as required.
- Learn and adhere to all court rules, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Support the efficient operation of the court office.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to learn new software and procedures quickly
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience in an office or administrative setting (not required, but beneficial)
