Job Description

CGI Inc. is actively seeking an experienced and passionate Scrum Master / Agile Coach to join our dynamic teams in London, Ontario. This pivotal role is essential in fostering agile principles, practices, and methodologies across multiple projects, helping our teams deliver exceptional value to clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
  • Coach development teams and product owners on Agile principles, values, and the Scrum framework, promoting self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments to the team's progress, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Support the Product Owner in effectively managing and refining the product backlog, ensuring clear communication of product goals and scope.
  • Monitor and report on key team metrics and progress to relevant stakeholders, fostering transparency.
  • Act as a change agent, guiding the organization in its journey toward greater Agile maturity.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve the overall effectiveness of Agile practices across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a professional setting.
  • Deep understanding and practical application of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and foster collaboration within diverse, international, and hybrid teams.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification, or other equivalent Agile certifications.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) or other Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean, XP).
  • Experience working within a large-scale enterprise or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
