Job Description
We are actively seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as Cereal Packaging Line Hands for immediate openings at our Grand Forks facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our delicious cereal products are accurately and efficiently packaged, adhering to our strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor packaging machinery for various cereal products.
- Perform routine quality checks on packaging materials and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Ensure all packaged products are correctly labeled and sealed.
- Load and unload materials from production lines, maintaining a steady flow of product.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations (GMP, HACCP).
- Assist with basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is an asset.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) would be beneficial.
