Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS and Azure to join our expanding team. This pivotal role involves designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions that support our global operations and diverse product offerings. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping our cloud strategy, ensuring best practices, and driving innovation. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.
- Lead the migration of on-premise applications and data to cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful cloud deployments and operations.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate new cloud technologies and services to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide resolutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM) and Azure (VMs, Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, VNet).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking, databases, and operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
