Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Support Staff to join our team in Armidale. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals, including backpackers, seeking a hands-on role in a fast-paced logistics environment. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. You will be instrumental in supporting our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient movement and management of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Picking and packing orders accurately according to specifications
- Organizing and stacking inventory in designated warehouse areas
- Performing general warehouse housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operating basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, once trained) safely and efficiently
- Conducting quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational targets
Required Skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and guidelines
- Legal right to work in Australia
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labour role (advantageous but not essential)
- Current forklift license or willingness to obtain one
- Own reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
