Job Description
Are you a compassionate communicator with a knack for problem-solving? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a real difference from the comfort of your own home? The AA is seeking dedicated Remote Dispatchers / Roadside Assistance Agents to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK, provided you have a stable internet connection and a quiet workspace. You will be the first point of contact for our members in distress, handling inbound calls to assess their situation, provide reassurance, and dispatch appropriate roadside assistance to get them back on their way. Full training will be provided to equip you with all the knowledge and tools you need to succeed in this vital role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally from members requiring roadside assistance.
- Accurately assess the nature of the breakdown or incident and gather all necessary information.
- Provide empathetic support and clear instructions to members, reassuring them during stressful situations.
- Utilise our systems to efficiently dispatch the nearest and most appropriate AA patrol or recovery service.
- Monitor ongoing jobs and provide updates to members as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and dispatch activities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call centre, customer service, or dispatching role.
- Familiarity with geographical mapping software or systems.
- A basic understanding of vehicle mechanics (desirable but not essential).
