Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Job Site Gate Keeper to manage access and deliveries at our active construction site in Twickenham. This is a crucial, sit-down role primarily focused on administrative duties related to site entry and exit. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining site security protocols. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a stable role with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control site access for personnel and vehicles.
- Accurately log all incoming and outgoing deliveries, maintaining detailed records.
- Issue visitor passes and direct visitors to appropriate areas.
- Communicate effectively with site management, delivery drivers, and contractors.
- Ensure all site entry/exit procedures are followed, promoting a safe working environment.
- Perform routine checks of the gate area and report any irregularities.
- Answer basic inquiries and provide directions as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for record-keeping.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic computer literacy for logging information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a gatehouse, reception, or administrative role (not essential, full training provided).
- Knowledge of basic site safety procedures.
