Job Description
We are seeking a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic Lobby Greeter to join our esteemed team at The Portside Grand Hotel. This crucial customer service role is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing information, and assisting guests with various needs, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for people and a desire to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome all guests upon their arrival at the hotel.
- Assist guests with directions, information about hotel services, and local attractions.
- Manage guest queries and provide accurate, helpful responses.
- Coordinate with front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Maintain a professional and inviting presence in the hotel lobby.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
- Handle minor guest issues or direct them to appropriate staff members.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold hotel standards.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light luggage handling.
- Fluency in English.
