Job Description

We are seeking motivated and reliable Demolition Offsiders to join our busy team in Bundaberg. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for immediate work in a dynamic and physical role. As a Demolition Offsider, you will play a crucial role in our on-site operations, assisting skilled demolition experts with various tasks. Full training will be provided, so no prior demolition experience is necessary – just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This is a hands-on position requiring physical fitness and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the safe and efficient demolition of structures under supervision.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools as directed.
  • Help with site preparation, including fencing, signage, and exclusion zones.
  • Sort and separate demolished materials for recycling and disposal.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow instructions from site supervisors and team leaders.
  • Perform general labouring tasks as required to support demolition activities.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Basic understanding of English for safety instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
  • Experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., construction, landscaping, warehousing).
  • First Aid certification.
