Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead operations at one of our flagship properties in San Jose, CA. This executive-level role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional looking for an executive relocation package and potential sponsorship support. The General Manager will be fully responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, financial performance, team leadership, and community engagement. You will drive excellence in service standards, optimize revenue streams, manage budgets, and cultivate a positive and productive work environment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of hospitality management, and a commitment to delivering world-class experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring adherence to Hilton's brand standards and operational policies.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve financial goals, including revenue growth and profit optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hotel professionals across all departments.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and addressing feedback promptly.
  • Manage the hotel budget, financial reporting, and forecasting with accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain high standards of property appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Foster strong relationships with guests, local community members, and key stakeholders.
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to enhance hotel visibility and market share.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years as a General Manager in a full-service hotel.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including F&B, rooms, sales, and finance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and revenue management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Eligibility for executive relocation and/or sponsorship as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a Hilton-branded property.
  • Multilingual abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in pre-opening or significant renovation projects.
