Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative TikTok & Short Form Video Intern to join our dynamic marketing team in Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring content creator to gain hands-on experience in developing engaging short-form video content for social media platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram Reels. You will work closely with our social media and brand teams, learning how to translate brand messaging into compelling, platform-specific video narratives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media trends, video production, and looking to kickstart their career in digital marketing. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in brainstorming and developing creative concepts for TikTok and Instagram Reels content.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos optimized for various social media platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, sounds, and challenges, and identify opportunities for brand integration.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Participate in content calendar planning and scheduling.
- Monitor performance metrics and contribute to content optimization strategies.
- Help manage content libraries and assets.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in social media, particularly TikTok and Instagram.
- Basic understanding of video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot).
- Familiarity with current short-form video trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film, or a related field.
- Previous experience creating short-form video content, even if for personal accounts or school projects.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Portfolio or examples of previous video work (personal projects welcome).
