Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Shed Hand to join our dynamic team in Canning Vale. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in a traditional Australian work environment, supporting the vital wool industry. You will be an integral part of our operation, contributing to the efficient handling and preparation of wool. Full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the skirting, sorting, and classing of wool under supervision.
- Operating wool presses and preparing bales for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organised shearing shed and work area.
- Loading and unloading wool bales, often requiring heavy lifting.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assisting with general farm duties or shed maintenance as required.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.

- Strong physical fitness and stamina for demanding work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a rural or agricultural setting.
- Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with manual handling and operating basic machinery.
