Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Marina Dockhand. This is a hands-on, manual role involving significant interaction with our marina guests. You will be responsible for assisting boaters with berthing, fuel services, general marina upkeep, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Full training will be provided to the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist boaters with docking and undocking procedures, including line handling and fender placement.
  • Operate the fuel dock, ensuring safe and efficient refueling for vessels.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing inquiries and offering assistance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of docks, common areas, and marina facilities.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, such as dock repairs, cleaning, and equipment checks.
  • Monitor marina activities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with waste management and environmental protection efforts within the marina.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual activities to management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and safety briefings.
