Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused E-commerce Chat Specialist to join our fast-growing brand. This is an immediate start opportunity for an individual passionate about providing exceptional support to our online customers. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate information, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience through our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in real-time via live chat to answer product questions, assist with order placement, and provide general support.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently, including troubleshooting common problems, processing returns/exchanges, and addressing shipping inquiries.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our e-commerce products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams while maintaining clear communication with the customer.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience by providing friendly, professional, and efficient service.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and spelling.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer service.
- Proficiency with common computer applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an e-commerce or chat support environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and e-commerce platforms.
- An interest in gaming or pop culture.
