Job Description

This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for those with little to no prior experience in caregiving. As a Live-in Carer, you will provide continuous, personalized support to a client in their home, fostering a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. This unique role includes private accommodation within the client’s home, allowing you to build a deep, meaningful connection and provide consistent care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to the client.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment as needed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying living areas, laundry, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Administer medication reminders as per care plan.
- Assist with grocery shopping and other errands.
- Accompany client to appointments and social activities.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for the client.
Required Skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for personal use/emergencies, not necessarily client transport).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a caring role (formal or informal, e.g., caring for a family member).
- First Aid and CPR certification (training will be provided if not already held).
