Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and physically fit Piling Labourers to join our heavy infrastructure projects in the Kwinana area of Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work on significant regional developments, contributing to essential civil construction. You will support piling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency on site. This role offers top pay for individuals committed to hard work and teamwork within a leading construction company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and dismantling of piling equipment and rigs.
  • Handle, position, and secure various piling components, including steel reinforcement cages and formwork.
  • Support concrete pouring operations, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Operate small plant machinery and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times, strictly adhering to all WHS policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper storage and inventory.
  • Perform general site labouring duties as directed by site supervisors and foremen.
  • Promptly report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to relevant personnel.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous manual tasks in various weather conditions.
  • A solid understanding of construction site safety practices and a commitment to working safely.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) is essential.
  • Minimum 6 months of previous experience in a heavy civil or construction environment, ideally around piling or large machinery.
  • Forklift, Basic Rigging (RB), or Dogging (DG) tickets will be highly regarded.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport to site.
