Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is open to both junior professionals eager to learn and skilled engineers looking to expand their expertise in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation across various projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Manage and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system reliability.
- Implement and maintain security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our tools, processes, and systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
