Job Description

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Entry-Level Activities Coordinator to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in planning, organizing, and leading engaging activities that promote the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents. No prior experience in senior care is required – we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of a diverse activity calendar tailored to resident interests and abilities.
- Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise sessions, musical events, and social gatherings.
- Provide one-on-one engagement with residents who may not participate in group activities.
- Encourage resident participation and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas and materials.
- Document resident participation and report any observations to the Activities Director.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure resident satisfaction and well-being.
