Job Description
Loomis is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as an Armored Car Cash Transit Guard (Trainee). This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated candidates with no prior experience in security or firearms. We offer comprehensive, paid firearms training to ensure you are fully prepared and certified for this critical role. As a Trainee, you will learn the essential skills needed to safely and securely transport cash and valuables, contributing to the vital infrastructure of our economy. You will receive hands-on instruction and mentorship from experienced professionals, preparing you for a rewarding career in security.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all paid firearms and security training programs.
- Learn and adhere to strict security protocols and procedures for the safe transport of valuables.
- Operate armored vehicles securely and efficiently along designated routes.
- Load and unload valuable cargo, ensuring accurate counts and secure handling.
- Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Adhere to all company policies and state/federal regulations.
Required Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to strict protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- No prior experience in security or firearms required; full paid training provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
