Marston Holdings is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Bailiffs in the Gateshead area. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this vital role. You will learn how to engage professionally with individuals, apply legal frameworks, and resolve financial matters in a fair and considerate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive training program to understand legal frameworks and procedures.
- Effectively engage with debtors in a professional and empathetic manner to arrange payment plans.
- Execute warrants and court orders in accordance with legal requirements and company policy.
- Negotiate and collect outstanding debts, ensuring compliance and fairness.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all interactions and outcomes.
- Uphold company values and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
- Travel within a designated local area to meet with individuals.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- No prior experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, sales, or conflict resolution is a plus.
- Knowledge of local geography in the Gateshead/Newcastle area.
