Job Description

George Mason University is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Behavioral Psychology Intern to join our academic research team in Arlington, VA. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity for aspiring researchers to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge behavioral psychology studies. While prior experience in research is not required, a strong interest in human behavior, psychology, and academic inquiry is essential. The intern will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, contributing to ongoing projects focused on understanding and predicting human behavior within various contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead researchers with data collection, including survey administration and experimental setup.
  • Learn and apply qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques under supervision.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research projects and grant proposals.
  • Prepare research materials, including presentations, reports, and manuscript drafts.
  • Maintain meticulous records of research activities and data.
