Job Description
Join our Big W team in Geelong as a Catalogue Sorter! This is a flexible, part-time role perfect for individuals seeking local work that can fit around other commitments. As a Catalogue Sorter, you will be responsible for accurately sorting and preparing promotional catalogues for distribution, ensuring they are ready for our customers. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack deliveries of promotional catalogues and other marketing materials.
- Accurately sort catalogues according to specific store layouts, promotional campaigns, or delivery routes.
- Organise and bundle catalogues efficiently to prepare them for display or distribution.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work area, including catalogue storage zones.
- Perform quality checks to ensure catalogues are undamaged and correctly sorted.
- Adhere to all company safety and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 10kg).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail, warehouse, or sorting environment (though not essential).
- Familiarity with local Geelong area for context of sorting routes.
