Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Cold Store Picker in our Wagga Wagga distribution centre. This role involves accurately and efficiently picking and packing chilled and frozen products in a cold storage environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our stores receive the freshest products on time. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics with a reputable company. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack products from designated chilled and frozen storage areas.
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as required.
  • Ensure a clean and organised work environment within the cold store.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment (appropriate thermal gear provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and move products regularly.
  • Willingness to learn and operate material handling equipment.
  • No prior experience required; full training provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics environment (beneficial but not essential).
  • Experience operating forklifts or other MHE (forklift license not required for application, training available).
  • Basic understanding of inventory systems.
