Job Description
Join Bimbo Bakeries USA as a Commercial Bakery Packer in Asheville, NC! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals seeking stable, full-time employment with weekly pay and comprehensive training. As a Packer, you will be an integral part of our production team, ensuring our fresh bakery products are carefully inspected, packaged, and prepared for distribution. We offer a supportive and fast-paced work environment where attention to detail and teamwork are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect bakery products for quality, freshness, and consistency.
- Accurately pack finished products into designated bags, trays, or boxes.
- Seal and label packages according to established company standards.
- Monitor production lines, identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions or product defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all sanitation guidelines.
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall bakery operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or food service environment (not required, but a plus).
